I passed on the first dissidia because I've lost some interest in games like that too. But after seeing who some of the new characters are in the sequel I can't ignore it. I mean... you'll get to actually control Tifa in a game.

After I saw this picture of the new Dissidia game coming out next month I decided that I'll defiinately be getting it.



It also has Lightning, Yuna and Kain from FF4. My inner FF fanboy just exploded.

I suppose it's not possible for me to be a whore and sleep with everyone?

So I'm nearing that point in ME2 that requires very careful decision making... who I sleep with. What type of impact does it really make? Any?

I actually clicked on that and I hate that creepy video.

That made me think I was watching a trailer for a new Lord of the Rings game. It looks pretty cool but the gameplay footage just fed my mind on the way I stereotype non-japanese rpg's like what's shown at 3:00. I realize that's not a true representation of what the entire gameplay is like, but it gave me flashbacks of why I've always avoided american/euro made rpgs. There's just a completely different feel to the games.

Games like final fantasy, persona, dragon quest and zelda (though that's not technically an rpg) are what fuels me.

Persona 4 came out in 2008 and was released as a ps2 game; I clocked in over 100 hours easily and wished there was more.

It hasn't been announced what platform persona 5 is going to be released on, of course all us fans are praying it's the ps3, but even if it's only gonna be a ps2 game again I'll be at the store on the opening day release to get mine.

That's pretty much exactly what it is... an FPS with RPG elements. But in the end it's still an rpg by definition. It's just not a traditional jrpg.

That video looked cool, but I'm always wary of trailers that don't show any gameplay footage... and the game just screams american/european made. The only rpg that I'm really looking foward to is Persona 5... and that won't be out for a long time. I played star ocean for the ps3 before I started ME2 and it was mostly mehh. The graphics were average, the story was cliched, the male characters were basically queers and it had one of the most brain-dead battle systems I've ever seen in an rpg. You seriously don't have to do anything except hammer on the R2 button... even against the enemies in the final dungeon, just hammer on the shoulder button. It got incredibly old. The positives were hot women, a deep item creation system and having an option for the original japanese track.

The last rpg I really enjoyed was FF13, before that was Persona 4 (and that was a ps2 game) but ME2 is pretty sweet.

I'm starting to get into ME2. Great graphics. I read that the ps3 version is running on the ME3 engine and that's part of the reason it looks better than the 360.

I did Kasumi's side mission which felt James Bond-esque and loved it. The game doesn't feel like an rpg to me since I'm a jrpg guy. It feels like a really big FPS that lets you choose the order of the levels you play through.
