I can't believe this doesn't have a thread... Anyway - how bout it... I watched the anime, then read all from 400-902 (Around chpt. 400 you get new development, a anime continuation), and it's good...

Has it's charms but severely lacks plot progression.Prefer the anime to the manga version.If your a boxing nut,I guess you'll enjoy it.

I agree it's quite slow, but considering how far he has to go I feel if he suddenly got there it'd cheapen the manga
Woli was the end of the beginning, it'll start picking up from here I think

hi people loved the series but i'm not gonna read the manga so could you tell me ASAP if this thread is gonna be about the manga or the anime and if you guys are going to spoil alot of stuff that didn't happen yet in the series but did happen in the manga????

Manga... But, there isn't really much to spoil... An average battle in manga lasts around 3 months, usually even more!!!

i'm up to date with the manga, haven't touched the anime tho
series is great, but slow at times (after ippo becomes jap champ, until he challanges other champs and takamura defending his titles) and has a few useless characters (aoki and his unmemorable bff)
overall good series worth the whole read (an im no boxing nut)

imo underated becasue 900 chapters scares people (took me a month to read -_-)
