Well, imagine this - A mangaka is gone missing/dead/whatever, and you're there to continue his/hers legacy - the manga... Now, you can't edit what's already published/done, but you can take the story to a new direction if you want...

Example :

Dude dooing the Bleach is gone... Now Ichigo is supposed to learn the new technique and fight/defeat Aizen (that's what the mangaka planned).

I choose to kill Ichigo and give his father the main role, meaning that Isshin now fights Aizen...etc....

So, which series would you choose (MUST BE ON-GOING), and what would you do/change...

I don't know if the thread title is fitting, but honestly - don't care...

Rosario to Vampire IMO.
I'd stop all the "Almost-Kiss" - scenes and finally get Tsukune to man up a bit and choose one of the girls once and for all.
It's annoying the hell out of me.

I like your imagination! If I want to succeeding my favourite mangaka, I would like to drive the story to a new direction, but it's still not to lost the manga 'point-of-interest' thing's!

Lol Hell no, what stupid weeaboos dont realise, is that most manga artists get paid shit, unless they are like super famous. One example of this would Mizaki and studio Ghibli.
