As far as I can tell, their names are just names. I can't really link them together to make a sentence. I reckon the power of knowing their names is that they acknowledge him as the SoSP's successor, and that is about it. Now if Naruto could get his hands on the Ichibi chakra, then we'll see something awesome. Until then, I doubt he'ld do anything out of the ordinary.

I gotta say, the last couple of chapters have been Epic.. So Epic it feels as if Naruto's story is soon coming to an end but a long way to go because he has yet to fight Sasuke and yet to become Hokage..

It remains to be seen. I agree, by getting to know their names, they acknowledged him as the SOSP's successor. However, I don't think all he got out of it was just a title. He had to have gained a new power, is what I'm hoping for. Perhaps, the power to control them all, like the SOSP? Also, FM wouldn't be worried so much about him knowing names.

You would think the SoSP sons would have known the names of the Bijuu (if anyone had before Naruto), and they were the closes to (besides FM, Madara and Naruto in their own way getting there) of becoming the next SoSP. I'm sure his sons were stronger than the strongest ninjas in Narutoverse but they still didn't become the Sage successor, because they were split instead of one. I'm sure you have to physically become the SoSP.

The SoSP slit his powers into two and gave one son his body, while the other got his eyes. The 1st Hokage seems to have had his body, but I'm sure Naruto has that..... probably. Naruto has the same necklace the SoSP's picture depicts. Maybe the 1st was one piece, and Naruto, the Rinnegan, and possible more is required (I should throw Uchiha in but I'll keep it with the Rinnegan for now).

So after getting Nagato's Rinnegan Tobi only had 3 of the 6 paths. A few pages back he talks about the Uchiha and Senju being one (Sasuke can't use Izanagi if he starts getting his @ss beat!). This is why I think you have to physically become the Sage. SoSP son with the eyes knew it and Madara & Tobi knows it. I'm sure Naruto is one piece since he is basically a mini Sage himself, but Tobi doesn't seem to think so... or doesn't know just yet. Maybe an special seal is required to keep "The Beast" inside and Naruto has that seal since the Uzumaki specialized in seals, but could also be the body since they are distant cousins of the Senju. Meh.... nuff thinking and lets discuss.

Yeah, we still need to figure out what the 6 paths are. One reason for Naruto's special transformation though, could be the fact that only half the Kyuubi was sealed in him. Other wise, Kishi better have a good explanation. I would have assumed the 6 paths were:
-Body
-Spirit
-Chakra
-Eyes/Rinnegan
-Items/weapons
-Nature

Of course, these are all guesses. Maybe if we looked to Pain's paths we could get some hints. But the translations for all the paths names were always different cos they were such hard names.

I wonder how Pain got the Rinnnegan? I mean, if they were the eyes that came from Madara (which should be getting blurry after 85ish years of being on the Earth) one would have thought Tobi would have had them then. It is funny how Madara knew how to unlock the Rinnegan but decided to fight the 1st Hokage instead to get his DNA. Maybe you need Senju DNA to unlock it in a strange way, but that still doesn't explain how in the heck Pain got the darn thing. I could go with the Rinnegan being a mutation in the Senju blood types (I know! Pushing the limits of an Uchiha only ability, but they and the Senju related in a way... so down the line it wouldn't be too strange if an Senju develops some properties of it's ancestors [SoSP]). Only hole is that Madara knew about Pain when he clearly died. I wonder what Madara did to ensure Nagato came out with the Rinnegan in the end? Matter of fact, what are the requirements of unlocking the Rinnegan (since Madara achieved it right before his death)?

Naruto is winding down but alot of great question still have yet to be answered! It would be funny if Kishi pulls another 3 years out of Naruto

Well, from what we've been told, Madara gave his eyes to Tobi, who "gave" them to Nagato/Pain. From what I recall, Madara unlocked the Rinnegan after his battle with the 1st Hokage. So yeah the Senju DNA most likely had something to do with it. Considering Nagato was meant to be of the same line as Naruto, it could be that before the Uzumaki clan was wiped out (prob by Tobi's schemes), Nagato was saved, but was a baby, and the eyes were implanted then. But to answer your question, Tobi clearly stated that he was the one who gave him the eyes. Nagato really didn't unlock anything. Perhaps one requirement for the usage of the Rinnegan is the DNA/chakra or the Uzumaki/Senju clan.

He's just made his entry into war and he's already being cocky and everything guess it was to be expeced from him.However he sasuke seems to be growing quickly accustomed to his new eyes.Guess he's really going for the kill of Naruto.Happy to have got a glimpse of godly itachi...i hope itachi and sasuke won't fight again if ever they meet !

yeah i know its traslation sucks sometimes but mangastream is just giving like preview stuff right now so guess we gonna have to wait and cross checkto see if everything is ok xD !!!
