Hayate no Gotoku"athena and hayate"

To all who readed chapter 265 on hayate no gotoku~
well i wanted to ask a question regarding this chapter

1)About when they confessed that "i loved you" what did they mean by Loved???
2)When nagi's hat flew and athena caught it and gave it back,but next time she wont. After that part why did athena said that "we'll have to go back to japan" or something like that?? at chapter 266.
3)What do you guys think about this chapter 265~266 would athena and hayate still love each other or not??

Athena lied about going back to Japan because she don't want Hayate to worry about her anymore. Hayate isn't Athena's butler anymore, but Nagi's. If she told Hayate that she's going back to Japan, he would worry about her, or may even visit her everyday.

Athena decided that he should be with Nagi, and forget about her. Not telling him about going back to Japan would help Hayate stay away from her. :3

She did say she love him last time, and even still. But she don't want to hurt Hayate by saying she liked him, because he isn't her butler anymore. He is a very, very kind person, so if she was possessed once, Hayate will be worried about her being possessed for a very long time.

She also saw that Hayate is with Nagi for the debt thing. She don't want to take Hayate over, because she felt that Hayate have a strong bond with Nagi and didn't want to break it. xD

If she did say she love Hayate and told him that she would be going back to Japan, Hayate would pay less attention to Nagi and more attention towards Athena. That would cause a lot of trouble for both parties. >.<

I think when A-tan said, "We're going back to Japan", she hasn't given up on Hayate. Personally for the 3rd question, I don't think those 2 will hook up and no, I'm not an Athena-hater. I have a feeling that the manga is ending soon, so it would be weird if the mangaka hook up those 2.
