They arrive in silence and darkness. They descend from the skies. They have a hunger for human flesh. They are everywhere. They are parasites, alien creatures who must invade-and take control of-a human host to survive. And once they have infected their victims, they can assume any deadly form they choose: monsters with giant teeth, winged demons, creatures with blades for hands. But most have chosen to conceal their lethal purpose behind ordinary human faces. So no one knows their secret-except an ordinary high school student. Shinji is battling for control of his own body against an alien parasite, but can he find a way to warn humanity of the horrors to come?
I've just finished reading this manga and I must say, I just couldn't put it down until the end.

I remember reading this manga, it had a good story and it mildly reminded me of death note for some odd reason. still I recommend this manga to anyone/everyone
I have read this series from first to last page three times, seriously it's awesome. Among the more than 100 different mangaseries I have read this one stands out as my absolute favorite together with FMA. Although the art isn't top-notch (it's still quite good though) the story makes up for it.
It's a very deep seinen thriller with a plot that outranks most else I've read. To be honest though I never quite understood what was supposed to be so horrifying about it, although it can be quite violent and grotesque at times. A must read for everyone who likes a good story, although it might not be very suited for ages under 16.
Really, the only dissapointing thing about this manga is that it was never made into an anime.
