Zeref is strong there's no doubt. In his current state, he would put Natsu and co to shame easily. Ultear is just that strong. I mean she is the eldest of the 7 Kin and we've seen how strong the others are. Besides, Zeref has a seal on him or something, thus his sleeping state. He prob doesn't want to release this seal because it'll prob take the life of all on the island.

All throughout the series Zeref was portrayed as a big bad mage. To see him act like a weakling human, is odd and disappointing. But I guess this is due to that seal or w/e
I'm taking a wild guess and say that he prolly has something to do with the dragons, somehow...

Considering his been hiding on this sacred island for so long. I would have assumed that the first master of FT was the one who stopped him and persuaded him onto the good side.

I want to know why Capricorn has issues with Lucy's mom? Seeing how Lucy is, I don't think her mom was an evil lady that mistreated the spirits. I think, he must have fallen in love with her and she said "No way I'm making out with a goat" and he got extremely upset and now want's revenge. Jealousy is a terrible thing.
