Plot Summary: In the near future, mankind has suffered from a Third World War, leaving extreme damage all over and forced mankind to become even more distinct from their species. The world was at chaos and from this chaos comes a new species: “Needless”. The Needless are humans who have contracted a “disease” as humans may call them, and allow them to wield extraordinary powers far superior to any mankind. Their abilities include Telekinesis, elemental powers, gravity control, adaptation, radioactive release and all manners of scientific impossibility.

Major spoilers ahead from the manga after the capture of Eve.

1. Blade engages Arclight at the Simeon headquarters without finishing the fight. Blade, Cruz and co then proceed to fight the 3 Pretty Girl Squad members in a giant size bedroom.

2. Two new Needless ladies, Seto (the one carrying the huge sword) and Salvo (with magnetic abilities) showed up as Blade's allies to fight Mio and co.

3. Eve is mindcontrolled by a Pretty Girl Squad member, Kurumu using her Black Attraction ability and punctured a hole in Blade's chest when Blade tried to untie her.

4. Cruz/Yamada's sister is the spy implanted in the rebellion forces and showed up unexpectedly with Saten to fight Blade and co. She is also one of the Elite Four under Arclight.

5. Cruz sister then slices off Cruz's left arm and tried to kill him.

6. In flashback, Dr. Gid is the one in charge of the Adam Experiment. Blade and Eve were successful clones in his lab. Arclight, the failed clone then merges body with the original body remnants of The Second and causes the explosion that created the Black Spot. Dr. Gid then took the young Blade and Eve under his care and raised them.
