summary stolen from MAL:
Eri Yukizaki is a girl who fights. She is a “pretty soldier.” Her foe is the evil Chainsaw-man, who doesn’t die even after being slashed. If he isn’t defeated, the world will have no future. I was wrapped into this battle, and my life has changed completely… A “non-stop” negative youth story!

my own words:
a bored high schooler has a chance encounter with a girl sitting in snow... moments after explaining that shes waiting for her rival, the chainsaw man, he appears and a fight ensues. the boy gets wrapped up in how cool it is and follows the girl around in her adventures of fighting the evil chainsaw man.

my thoughts:
lots of cool fight scenes and teen angst as well as some comedy and romance. Both of the main characters have a tragic past that influences them. Its only 8 chapters but its still very good and doesnt end abruptly or anything like that. Also, by the same author as Welcome to the NHK, so you can expect similarities in drawing and mood.

gave it a 9/10 myself.

Check it out... if nothing else, its only 8 chapters so its not a big investment even if you are disappointed.

It looks like it would make a nice 2 or 3 episode OVA anime..I may try to look this one up for a short read ^_^

thats what i thought after reading it but who knows. its possible though cause im pretty sure Welcome to the NHK was very well recieved.

Man, I've been meaining to read this, but never got around to it.

So there's only 8 chapters of this manga out so far?

2 volumes. like i say in first post... its short but it doesnt feel like it was just cut dry like some other series (double arts, Mx0, etc).
