Past translators have been more forthcoming about explaining references, though. Where did the "mah wife" thing come from, for instance? And who was Sue playing in the aviator head-gear?

She was playing Shinobu Oshino from Bakamonogatari... The little girl that never speaks, who is also the vampire that turned Koyomi Araragi into a vampire before the start of the anime series..

Sue makes a ton of Bakemonogatari references but I never understood the "She is MAH wife." I think I know where it's from...but I'm not sure...
