One-Shot-athon by Famous Mangakas

It seems like Jump is releasing a One-Shot per week by famous Mangakas. I'll be uploading them here for you. If anyone wants to add anything to this main post, such as a summary, please feel free to do so. Otherwise, enjoy and Discuss.

1.Bench - by Masashi Kishimoto (Author of Naruto)

bankara was way better than bench but i liked them both

Basically, I think the boss of Jump went to the mangakas and asked them, "is there a story that you want to write/start, but couldn't because your current project is too popular?" Or put it this way, Oda says he wants to write a manga thats going to surpass One Piece when it ends. This means he has a really good idea already, but since One Piece hasn't finished, and he doesn't want it to finish suddenly, and by the time it does finish, he may have retired. Gives them a chance to be creative outside their legendary work, that's all.

does this mean oda will be doing a one shot too? since akira toriyama(dragonball) will also be doing one and the other mangaka's you just said

Bankara was amazing but I wanna see Oda's too.

i also liked bankara. It was far better then kishi's bench. Bench was okay but i have to say Bankara was so awesome normally i dislike mecha cyborg manga's but one was okay

Yeah, Hideaki is a brillant author. He took an already over use, over abused theme, and made it out to be a great thing. I guess this will also give us a chance to bench mark the authors creativity. I mean Naruto is great, but it seems Kishi has reached his limit of creativity. I saw a lot of Ginatama in Bankara, the art, the comedy, I guess thats why Ginatama is one of my favourite animes.

I wonder how Kubo will decide to troll us with his one shot, lolz, and if Oda's one will be damn epic.
