That will be funny if that's the reason.

The problem with Kenpachi is he doesn't think his Zanpakutou is important, that his power is the only thing that's obsolete. Kinda like Kouga.

i was just guessing. Have u sen the manga wer the 1st espada release ; wer his vice-captain becomes his gun, just lie dat she will bcom his bankai. Just a lame theory.

^ but he picked her up b4 the two became shinigami, so that doesn't make any sense. And like ichigo, b/c his reiatsu output is so strong all the time, his zanpaktou actually stays in the shikai form the whole time, its just that b/c he can't call out the name he can't use its ability so there is no way yachiru is his zanpakuto
