Man!!
When i saw the first 60 ep of bleach I was just amazed at the amt. of awesome potential this show had and after switching over to the manga I have to say that I am very dissapointed at how cliched the manga has become.

This a very rare instance of the anime being better than the manga.
The shows director is a bloody genius,the way he coreographs the same mundane fights and still retains our intres is praiseworthy!!!

I think you set your standard too high for this kind of manga, its very cliche but when you expect it its an easier pill to swallow lol. It did start off great and exceeded my expectations but after the whole save rukia part it lost that I wonder whats gonna happen next feel. My favorite part is when Ichigo saves Rukia and he comes in all badass and then beat Byakuya while Aizen starts to move.

For a weekly long running shounen anime BLEACH sets a very high standard.
My gripe is with the manga and how it doesnot reatain and regain the excitement of the initial arcs.
The author just fills the story with a highly predictable plot,cliched dialouges and mundane fights.
While the naruto manga has gone from strength to strength the bleach manga has been one steep fall downhill!
