J-Drama: Discussion

With my exams finally over and no new releases to check out I downloaded a
Japanese drama named MY BOSS,MY HERO and so far it's been pretty hilarious.
So I was kinda wondering if there are any more intresting ones to watch hence I decided to start this thread to discuss share and request Japanese Dramas....

The only J-Drama I've watched is Akihabara@DEEP Search. It's based on otaku culture and Akihabara. There's also a movie, but with different actors/actresses and slightly different story.

I really prefer watching K-Dramas though. My top recommendation would be Sad Love Story/Sad Sonata. Really sad as the title suggests.

K-dramas are good!!! I watch some on KBS mostly along with the game shows!!!

Not a big fan of Mushy loves stories.I'd rather watch a romantic comedy orsomething comic like MY BOSS.MY HERO.
I've heard MUKODONO is pretty good but can't seem to find ddl links for it.Hoping someone
can help me find it.

My Lovely Sam-Soon is a K-Drama that's romance comedy. I really enjoyed it~

I watched Furinkazan...where my idol GACKT is starring...didn't understand 'cuz it's raw...but I liked it anyway...
& I'm looking for the Maison Ikkoku/Mezon Ikkoku series...I love the anime, although it's old the story is so romantic in a funny way...if you like funny love stories try this one...

Hirohata 05-12-2009 07:45 PM

I found it whilst searching for Akihabara@DEEP. I hadn't watched a few episodes in the middle, but already finished the rest.

ARTHURIUSS 05-13-2009 07:37 AM

Has anyone seen Dragonzakura???
If so opinions pls!

ARTHURIUSS 05-15-2009 07:50 PM

Kuh! I just marathoned
Dragonzakura
Rookies
Nodame Cantabile.

I guess I've become Dorama otaku now! lol!

I've watched GTO, gokusen, dragonzakura, hana yori dango and probably some others I don't remember off the top of my head. All were pretty decent, yeh lol.

Hana yori dango, being the only one I don't see mentioned here, I'd say is probably worth watching if you feel like watching doramas^^

KuroReishin 05-17-2009 10:20 AM

1 liter of tears anyone?

ARTHURIUSS 05-19-2009 08:25 AM

Finally finished watching Hana Yori Dango.Though it felt a little cheesy and melodramatic I
loved the show and the happy ending was really fulfilling.

I've heard plenty of good things about 1litre of tears and It's on my must watch list.

Presently looking for LOVE GENERATION.
Can somebody post the megaupload links for it.Can't seem to find it anywehere.
