hey guys my name's Dave, I'm 27 years old, from the big apple, when I'm not watching anime I'm usually in school, where I'm perusing my master degree in history, how pay for those classes you asked? at my local bank where i serve at the resident assistant branch manager. I've been a huge fan of anime ever since i was 10, this was back in 93(I'm old) my best friend at the time brought over a bootleg VHS of bastard (yes a VHS) and i was instantly hooked, in the coming years i became an addict, with great anime such as ninja scroll Gundam wing and a host of others i was totally captivated, and I've been watching ever since. so why am i here? well, when i was younger it wasn't as easy to get anime, only the really good series and movies would make its way to America and even with bootleg VHS it wasn't easy for a 10 year old at 10 bucks a VHS for 4 episodes (this was before the inter webs). now that everything can be accessed through streaming video its harder and harder to find good anime and that why I'm here, hopefully I'll get introduced to something good. my usually weekly anime are as follow one piece, bleach, armed librarians and full metal brotherhood. i really like action,scifi shonen drama im not a big fan of comedy or romance although if the series is good I'll make an exception. example of what i like, basilisk, scrapped princess, claymore, samurai champloo, mushishi, naruto, gantz, code geass, death note, cowboy bebop, trigun, outlaw star, eureka 7, trinity blood, wolfs rain, dr. grey man, i could go on forever so I'll stop there, so that my story feel free to leave any suggestions, i would appreciate that. I, too, originally watched my anime on VHS tape. It's a sign of our age.

Also, is your name a reference to MGS?
