Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, my animetake´s forum name is Plorfi. Nice to meet you, how do you do?
As title´s says I am from Europe´s heart, do you know which European country is it?
I am admiring various style of animation - clay motion (Nick Park, Doug TenNapel), puppets(Kihachiro Kawamoto, Jiri Trnka, Jiri Barta), classic drawing animation (Yasuo Otsuka, Richard Williams, Michaela Pavlatova), or other great and amazing animators (Lotte Reiniger, Jan Svankmajer)- myself is an „amateur“ animator (my yt´s channel: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]).
Well, why am i here? For animes, as you might know, my 2011´s best japanese animation series were Nichijou for its unordinary setup, Mawaru Penguidrum for its good direction and Madoka for its plot and characters.
My always favorite movies would be from Studio Ghibli: Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away.
Welcome to AT!
Since you liked Nichijou, I suggest you watch Daily Lives of High School Boys for the latter half of this winter season. whaaaat, no Howl's Moving Castle love?
Stick around and remember to read the rules and hang around the forums.

WsE, Duratrix: Half-check, I have read Rules, however I do not know what stickies are...
TheOne_DarqSouL, Duratrix: Art section will be in my to-visit-list then.
Ketai: Daily Lives of High School Boys? Not sure, I wasn´t impress much by animation (I saw only OP), maybe the plot or setting would be nice for try... One of the main reasons I have watched Nichijou was for its fantastic animation (dang it, Kyoto Animation ruled in the last year!; they should do more serious project with this kind professional animation).
I like all Ghibli movies, however Princess Mononoke still impress me with frorest background drawn by Kazuo Oga with other BG stuff. And Spirited Away has a sentimental meaning for me... (my first anime on DVD)
Sure, i will keep rules in my forum soul.
