Hey Guys, nice to meet you; I'm Nikku, a 17 year old guy who as you can probably guess loves Anime. My favourites are Death Note, Beck and Angel Beats. I like pretty much every genre, just as long as it doesn't have mechas as a featuring part.
I enjoy making sigs, I'll probably post up some of my stuff soon in your graphics section ,and that's where I'll probably spend most of my time when I'm here ^ ^
I've been an active member of wao for a couple of months (please no pitchforks, I come in peace), and I thought I'd try out this forum too; I don't see why I can't be on both
Anyway, I guess I'll open the floor to questions now!

Ok so why the dislike of mech anime? Wait don't tell me. A conflict in your country. Mechs became involved and your little kitty was stepped on by a careless mech pilot. Well they are notorious for the collateral damage they can cause. The same thing happened to me except not really so I understand.

Try and enjoy yourself here even though you miss your kitty.

lol @digritz the dislike of mecha anime is simply just because I find them boring, they're fun in games when you can control them; but just watching someone else pilot one? Meh, doesn't appeal to me.

Hmmmm I suppose that can be true for a great deal of mecha anime. But not all. Give ISEKAI no SEIKISHI a try. Slice of life, harem, school life and a bit of mech. It's in the Tenchi family. Though they really aren't mechs per say. Come to think of it Heroic Age isn't bad either. Sci-fi, space opera, romance and again a bit of mech. Mostly giant planet destroying creatures and epic space battles.

Best of all no kitties were harmed in the making of either one.
