Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, I'm planning on digging into the collective wisdom here so I'll most likely stick around. I'm also pretty sure I'm up to date with interwebz courtesy so I should be ok as far as rules and basic human interaction goes

I've actually heard from quite a few people who thought very little of Boogiepop Phantom. An acquired taste perhaps. I've actually watched both Ninja Scroll and Ghost in the Shell and enjoyed both, thus I'll make sure to listen to your other recommendations since we seem to have similar tastes.

As for new jems...

You mean those series are truly, truly amazing?
