So I didn't realize there were certain religious regulations to follow with introductions here and I found out the hard way via a tidal wave of white-hot cyberbullying. It hurt, but alas, I have licked my wounds and shall try once more.

I am 25 years old, a white male of the US (!?!), and I really like anime. It's hard for me to pick favorites even though I like a ton of them, probably because I'm still really critical of like, animation quality, uniqueness of story/characters, US dubbing quality, how much the scripting can make sense to an American audience (fooly cooly, wtf), etc. Oh and SECKSINESS <3<3. But some of my "favorites" include:

Evangelion, Trigun, Gurren Lagann, Last Exile, FLCL, Bleach & Naruto (the well made episodes), Melancholy of Suzuhara, Digimon and DBZ from when I was a teenager, Bebop and Champloo by default, FMA and FMA Brotherhood (awesome dub), Black Lagoon (best dub I ever seen), um, Last Airbender even though it's not technically anime, Birdy: Decode, Star Driver was awesome to watch but that's all it had going for it, and then a ton of stupid ecchis and very male-oriented romances because I'm a creep.

I mean I've seen so many, lots of movies too, but still not enough. I'm partial to anything that looks beautiful, especially if it has combat/explosions, etc. I loved RED LINE so much I can't put it in my recycling bin.

So yeah nice to meet you all. Sorry to come off as a troll initially-- didn't think it would start such a fire.

PS I went to Japan once! OWNED. jk jk but srsly I did it was tight.

Now where were we. Ah yes........Welcome to AT. I'm not sure I agree with just editing the first intro. Truth is none of us would actually go back a check unless bumped. So I will applaud your effort.

Your favs are pretty much a win but no HEROIC AGE or ISEKAI no SEIKISHI. From what you watch I think you will enjoy. If you haven't already partook of their goodness. As for putting anime in the recycling bin, buy more space.

1. Cyberbullying does not exist... my spell checker tells me so. Aigoo back in 2005 there was still noobs, but... now WOW complains more they do. Next thing you know being called a newb or botter will be "cyberbullying".

2. Black Lagoon, the reason the dub is so good is because the English dubbers followed the anime's script closely instead of modifying it from the original script, that and the mangaka made it a point that it was only recorded in Japanese for the audiences convenience.
