Default Greetings from Germany - 01-09-2011, 01:24 AM

Well, dunno how to start... let's do it just like...

kind of my first post here on AT since my registration.

I started watching Anime like 6 Months ago (yeah, I'm kinda new to this) but I watched pretty many shows since then.
My favorite genres are psychological, seinen, comedy and everything that goes deep.
I don't detest ecchi in Anime, but it kills the story so often and it takes over some Anime so badly that I don't like to watch it all the time.

Since I started watching I've seen plenty of Anime, but my favourites are

Kara no Kyoukai
just because its amazing in every aspect you see it, it's deep and dark and just awesome.
Toradora!
because it was funny all over the place with some very absorbing drama elements.
Kure-nai
I liked the variety of genres that were mixed in this show. It changed from drama to hilarious parodies in no time.
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
I couldn't stop my laugher from the time the show started to the time it ended, the gags were funny as hell and the brilliant parody of certain elements of the japanese culture made me cry.
Spice and Wolf
If you know it, and pretty much everyone should know it, you know why you have to LOVE this Anime

so mostly when I'm not at school or with my friends I'm sitting on my bed watching Anime or reading Manga or listening to Music.

My taste of Manga is a bit different from my taste of Anime.
I like ecchi, comedy, action and romantic Manga.
my Favorites so far are

Highschool of the Dead
ways better than the Anime, the ecchi is just better, the gags funnier.
Kure-nai
After watching the Anime and the OVA I gave it a shot and it was just as amazing as them. The Artwork is catchy too.
Blood+
absorbing Story is all I have to say.
Kaichou wa Maid-sama
This is my favorite if it comes to romance. The gags are great, also is the artwork and the pairing is just the best XD

While I didn't read many Manga, cause I don't like reading online so I have to buy/order them (there are many Manga I have to order from America because they aren't published here), I try to get as many as possible.
The next Manga I plan to get is Dogs, I just saw the OVAs and they were like "buy this Manga,... buy this Manga,... DO IT FAGGOT!"
So I'll do it

the last thing, the music.
I listen to everything except of death/black Metal and Hiphop. and I don't like western Pop. It just kills my brain if I have to listen to it while I'd like to keep it for studying.
So I'm listening mostly to hard Rock, (alternative) Metal like System of A Down or Rammstein, but also I like Ska-Punk, (electronical) J-Pop/Rock and nearly any genre that exists out there. If I like it I listen to it.

So, hope we're getting along with each others AT,
greetings from cloudy Germany

Jedrow
