Master_Tonberry: Urusei Yatsura is basically the story of Ataru Moroboshi's life after meeting Lum, an alien princess from the Oni race. The Oni race came down to Earth and decided to give the humans a chance to defend themselves. Ataru is selected to defend Earth and play tag against Lum. He wasn't really interested, but his girlfriend told him that if he were to win the game, they would get married. In order to win, he had to touch her horns. On the last day, he was able to catch her off guard by taking off her bikini top. Lum somehow misinterprets that they were the ones who were getting married and falls in love with Ataru. Lum tries to win his heart and stop him from being so perverted and flirtatious. There's a wide array of interesting characters, and the songs are equally cute and catchy. It's a bit like watching Gintama or Ranma 1/2, in my opinion, seeing that there isn't much story at first. The anime is much more focused on showcasing the different characters and the humorous moments rather than their relationship. The OVA's where all the love is at. <3 I really do hope you find this helpful in determining whether or not Urusei Yatsura is a good read/watch! Hope it wasn't TL;DR either! :'D Hm.
