If it weren't for the religious references, I'd probably like Index & Index II.

I actually like Railgun better, cause of no said religious references. Don't get me wrong, the animation is gourgeous, it's said references that turn me off from it.

hey, thanks for the posts, but I got a few problems while playing these episodes with vlc media player and I'm wondering if it's only me or do these files really have a bug?

1. It always jumps back to the start when it's time to start the opening/ending. ( Because of that, it never stops playing and always jumps back to the start.)
2. There's no opening/ending
3. Maybe it's because of that, but I can't skip to the time accurately. It's always off by a few minutes.

Sry for bothering you, but I really want to know if I did something wrong or the files are broken.

Problems with how the singular OP/ED file play are often related to the release utilizing ordered chapters. Try using an alternative media player with the latest codecs to confirm this; that the problem is with VLC, not the file itself.

I suggest MPC with CCCP (head to the latter's website where the downloaded installer will provide both in it's options.

Isn't eclipse's release a TV version? I can't view the thread without registering so I'm not entirely sure, but last I checked eclipse didn't do BD releases.

That would explain the differences in size and subsequent quality.

Thank you very much! Now I can watch this series without any problems, but:

when I open the file with vlc, it shows me that there's about 23 ~ 24 minutes to play. When I open the files with mpc, there's only about 20 minutes and there are no OPs/Eds.

When I downloaded the op/ed these were suddenly included?!

Is there a possibility to merge/join these files so that I can play it even when I'm not using mpc?

As previously mentioned this release uses "ordered chapters". That is to say it uses one OP/ED file for every episode (playing each like a chapter - e.g. Intro/OP/Middle/ED - hence the name ordered chapters. This reduces the size of each episode as none of them contain a hardcoded OP/ED.

You could attempt to manually join the OP to each and every episode using a third party program (e.g mkvmerge), but you'd need to have a clear idea of what you're doing so the end product is worthwhile.
