AnyDVD HD just updated there software and i am now able to open the R1 Gunslinger Girl Blu-Rays. so now i can extract the proper subtitles from them to replace the crappy R1 DVD's dubtitles and release a patch for you guys. i will also update the files but that may be quite a while away so you will have to deal with the patcher for now. i would guess about 1 week for the patches if my software will start to cooperate and not hang up like it is wanting to do lately...

EDIT:
OK here is the first of 2 patch batch files. I will edit this post and the main post once the 720p is finished. These patches will replace the old dubtitles with realy subtitles from the R1 Blu-Ray's

ya know i dont think that is the case as Japan isnt one that likes to throw up upscale blu-ray's on the market like funimation. also remember that this series source is the R2 Blu-Ray's NOT the R1's as it just became available to rip them only a few days ago. i may be wrong but i just dont see it as these dont look like an upscale on the level of Samurai Champloo oand Claymore. and to prove it simply look at the pics on the main page of exiled destiny's DVD rip vs these blu-rays. there is a BIG difference but when you look at the Claymore Blu-Rays vs [E-D]'s DVD rip you cant really see much of a difference.

EDIT: Just patch it and skipped through all to test

- Ep 05,06,07,09,10,11,12,13 Subs off in 1-2secs, whole subs timing need to be shift forward> a bit

- Ep 11 Full Subtitles are on the OP/ED track it's the opposite

*Too bad I don't know how to use AegisSub, maybe someone can adjust the sub timing with it?
