Plot

In 1999, an alien ship crashes on South Ataria Island. A series of mishaps ends up sending the ship, christened the Macross, into the orbit of Pluto. Now, the Macross must make its way back home, pursued by the Zentradi, a race bred only for war...

Super Dimension Fortress Macross is the '80s series that really kicked off the transforming mecha genre, combining space opera, planes that turn into robots, a love story, pop music, and genocide in a way that still feels totally unique, thirty years later. I believe their is a dvd version by GP out as well, its very good yes but this is a remastered version of the dvd by GN and its well good u can tell by the file size 800 whooping mb per eps, well if your a fan of the mecha then this classic is no miss for any fan :]
