A vector image is comprised completely of shapes. If you're using Photoshop techniques to color in your lines, then your image is not a vector. Shapes don't lose their quality when you upscale them, whereas simple effects do.

sorry but you can use the pentool to create vectors..AND you can resize the image and it wont lose any quality...then save it as a .EPS format

nice try tho....even my image above was all done in photoshop..and i can even upscale it for you

I don't think you clicked on the link that was quoted, and I know what the pen tool does. That particular member does not make vector shapes for everything, using other tools in Photoshop to color. The statement that I made has nothing to do with your vector image unless you used the same coloring techniques, in which case you can't upscale your image and retain the same quality because it's impossible.

By the way, if you want to work with vectors, I suggest using Illustrator rather than using Photoshop. It's much quicker and you obtain shapes that are of better quality.

@tangerine...link I posted is how to color your image after vectoring it...With lines only images look "dead". So that tutorial is for those guys who want to go beyond vectoring with their images. If you want I will post you every vector of every image I colored ...These days I found my way of easy vectoring and coloring ....And sometimes I usually at the end lower opacity of lines and that way image looks better
