GRAPHICS SHOWCASE IS NOW HERE

Hey everyone and all graphics designers! In order to clear up all those threads that everyone has made for their graphic's work, I've discussed, along with a few others to decide on a thread where we can post our works and comment on each other's work. that way, we don't need to have a whole bunch of threads made in order for us you post and let people comment on our works. This will save time having to look for your thread to see if people have commented on your work.

Remember:
-Don't take criticism as offensive
-No offensive/explicit material allowed ( Eg. Nudity)
-Constructive criticism whether good or bad helps more but its not necessary.
-Suggested improvements are also good too.

Oh and don't forget, make sure you give your best to comment on other people's graphics designs. That way, you will get some feedback on your designs more often.

Well I guess thats about it. Who wanna be first? cool. Hope this works out well.

Ok, well, you're sig is cool. I like the background. Although the border could be smaller, maybe a 1px black or a darker shade of the current colour would be good. Also, the render might be better if it was blended just a bit on a one side, maybe the left. And if it was centered a bit more.

My signature really isn't a sig i suppose, just vectoring/tracing, but yeah... feel free to comment o_o... Also, the Ulquiorra one ( The Wrath ) isnt dont yet... I just thought it looked cool incomplete.

@Nirujan
I know it isn't really a sig but your sig looks nice with the repetion of the phases "The pride" and "The wrath"
The tracing/vectoring seems to have been done well but maybe for grimmjaw, try tracing a little close with that blue outline, that might make it look better. other then that it looks nice.

@Kuro
I like the background along with the render that you used. like Nirujan said, try blending the render a bit more along with a small border. 1px black border works well. Other then that it looks nice.

looks like things are going well. A sticky for this thread would be nice depending on how many people post their works here for commenting, instead of making their own thread for that.

Any suggestion which tool or technique I should use to blend it? BTW, I use Photoshop CS4 Compact Lite Version. Basically, just similar to other version.

Try blurring the render layer and then set it on overlay using the blur tool? Im not so sure if that helps.

I have made some changes on my latest sig. its more easy on the eyes now and not too bright. also sharpened a few parts. Hmm.. I have considered using photoshop but I got overwhelmed with so many of the tools you can use. Been thinking about it lately besides using gimp to make all my graphics works which Im use to.

<--has no idea about vectors
BUT, your sig/vector looks cool Nirujan, It's very hm.. what's the word unique I guess and it's very catchy and most important easy on the eyes

@Ergo, I really like your sig love how you did the purple left side and the right blue side, it kinda blends in with the render but I think it's too bright at some edges, a little change of opacity might help.

@Kuro it's very good I think, I had the same thing in mind; you could mix up the render with the bg more with the blur tool and you could change the opacity if you want to.

here is mine I guess. Is this how things go?

Looks good there Weika and thanks for the comments/Advice. Ill see what I can do.

Simple and nice. Try getting your render to flow along with your background a bit. Adding some C4Ds on dodge or screen layer layouts to the right side may help give it more composition(Might be too much of a nerdy word to use sorry)

Also I think the text will look better just below or in the middle of the right size along with a smaller font size and blending of the text, also important. But then again text is a matter of personal preference

anyways, nice work Weika

Don't worry about the nerdy part I'm way out there! lol Anyways, Thanks for the comment yeah the text was kinda botherting me it was kind hard placing it somewhere, I'll do that. I actualy did mix some C4D and I did some extra work (the red light kinda of thing is actually from a C4D) and mixed up some filters and add more layers. I'm slowly getting there I might use the same advice you gave Kuro about the Blur tool on the edges and thanks again.

no worries and true, my edges on latest sig do look a bit bright, ill have to use the burn tool to change that then.

EDIT:

I have made the changes but I seem to like it the way it is more beforehand
