Made a few changes on my sig.
added some brushes and lowered the light source a bit. also a change of text.

That doesn't really seem abstract to me...
Abstract doesn't really have a shape (render in this case).
It is more a harmony of colors and contrast and stuff.

Also the sig you entered for the competition seems to hurt my eyes when I look at it. =S

I made my SOTW entry a bit lighter on the eyes now. lowered the brightness a bit.

very nice definitely an abstract sig and the text is good change the borders to black and 2 pixel. Good job. New layer and apply image than stroke and after that make 2 new layers and use rectangle tool and make the top and bottom borders.

Looks pretty, plain there duratrix. Use some C4Ds or filters for an abstract sig and play with them. You may get a better effect.
