1. First of all, you are going to need an image, there are people here who will take requests, but if your chosen image you prefer it how it is or you found a signature from the web then move on to the next step
2. Most forums don't allow uploads from your computer, so in that case you need to go and host your image on an image hosting site. Here are some more recommended file hosters below

3. After the upload you should have a variety of host links, the one you will want will be image link for Forums.
4. Now in your user CP, which is in the menu bar under the Forum banner, second from the left. You have a userbar at the side of the screen, find the link that says Forum signature and click it.
5. Finally in the text box you paste the link you got from the file hosting site into it, if you use a direct link to the image be sure to add the image tags
"[img]"[/img]" < Remove the Speech marks and put the link in between the tags.
Now just click the OK button under the text box.
6. Now you should have yourself a nice image to decorate your posts.
