I created this thread to get more things in the Graphics section and to get it more active. ^^

Everyone start giving out some ideas.
Post here for Gfx events, competitions or other things you want to see.
This isn't just limited to Gfx people, so everyone share you ideas!!

You mean a gfx'er of the month?
Even so, how are you gonna determine it?

graphics of the month. usually something much bigger than a sig. ex: tag walls, wallpapers, and much larger themes.

done the same way as a sotw but for an entire month enstead.

maybe LPOTW or LPOTM? large piece of the week or month, an example:

I think joss started with an anime wallpaper competition, but that stopped after the first competition. xD

So start something like a wallpaper competition...
Hmmm... we could call it "large art/graphics" competition that'll cover about anything. Or make a different thread for each?

I've started a competition for special ocassions (new year, halloween, ...)
For which ocassions are we gonna do this and will it be only wallpaper or everything (like sigs and/or avatars, ....) ?
What about the rules for this, the voting and the prize in the end?

you gotta decide these things before you make the thread you goof!

first off, ava's i wouldnt count. theyre too small and hardly any gfx in them to begin with.

id do a combination of: sigs, banners, and walls. Give them a few weeks to work on them and have the voting start the week before teh holiday. that way people will ahve time to vote. then have it end either a day or so after the holiday so people dont have to get on during their family time. or make the voting time about a week in time.

should have a special prize offered for this event. now this forum doesnt really offer anything big to winners so maybe have someone make a winner gif sig or something like duchess used to do.
