SUGGESTION!....

Since it's almost the end of 2009, why don't we make an "OFFICIAL ANIMETAKE 2010 CALENDAR"......Wallpaper.....of course, this is not a competition....it's a freebie work for us to share with the other animetake members...just think of it as a marketing promotion...for the GFX club/participants & AnimeTake!

Of course...."AnimeTake" text is a must in the calendar...and if you want to make a whole year calendar....then it's great!...people can have options to chose what monthly wallpaper they like...

If this is a GO! Duratrix...then I'll let you decide on the size of the wallie

I'll be happy to make the month of "August" since it's my favorite month....See Yah!

Collab sigs are a lot harder than it sounds. It sounds great on the outside, but sometimes the person youre working with just ends up missing the deadline/stylistic problems etcetc. Sometimes you do get a good partner though, and that's always pretty amazing.

The calendar idea is excellent count me in for at least one of the months if you guys are going to do it. If there isn't enough gfx artists for 12 months then maybe everyone can do 2 months. But wow, I think that's great. But then I'll be putting in the request for someone to render the AT logo...since I'm prob the most impatient person ever when it comes to rendering >_>

I'm guessing there will be many entries so would still need to have some sort of contest to see whose wallpaper gets to be featured on the AnimeTake Calendar.

EDIT: Are we gonna contest over certain months? Or are these 12 months like cooperative.. devided by 12 ppl..

Or soemthing else.. Is it gonna be the full 12 months at one Picture.. ( Though I would prefer those 12 devided.)

I was thinking that the calendar should be a free for all type.....I mean, what theme you want, how many months and what month is up to you.....we will collect all the entries and post them all so that anybody can pick/choose what wallpaper/calendar month they like....of course you should make your calendar somewhat appropriate to the month/season...(don't make a summer calendar with the months for winter, get the idea!)....Size is minimum 800x600

I also think that it's better to be "NOT A COMPETITION"...making this a competition, will make us run out of time (there's the SOTW, the Special Event Competition, plus some of us also participate on other GFX sites & are busy with their own work/school/activities)...We have at max 5 weeks to make the best monthly calendar we can...so I'm asking those GFXer's/ or interested people to join in....It doesn't matter if it's ugly or copy/paste kind of wallpaper....as long as you're not ripping anyones work...it's fine...just be sure you made it...so it means...."ANYONE CAN SUBMIT THEIR WORK"....Thanks!

I'll be making my first calendar this coming Friday *GMT (my only day off) for the month of January 2010....I'll ask Duratrix to make a thread where we can post our works...
