Well errr...

CS3 became more powerfull and faster then CS2. CS3 has a few more and improved editing tools. The interface changed a bit too, but still quite similar to that of CS2 (the appearance of the menu's on the sides changed).

CS4 stayed mostly the same as CS3 except maybe that it became more powerfull (didn't notice much though) and that a lot 3D related things got added (paint directly on 3D models, wrap 2D images around 3D shapes, convert gradient maps to 3D objects, add depth to layers and text, ...).
Interface changed from CS3 to CS4 as well. CS4 makes use of tabs and the menu's on the sides also changed a bit.

Does this answer your question?

Well, it kinda does, one last thing though.... I am running 3,2 dual, and 512 mb GC(HIS) 4 gig DRR2

It isn't 'crappy' But it doesnt run everything.. I guess I am able to run CS3 with it but.. I am concerned about CS4

in anyway, thnx a lot.. I might try using CS 3 or 4 some time.. learning their GUI.
