Anime Inspired 3D Models/Graphics -

Just had the thought, that designing sigs shouldn't be the only type of art we get to talk about/show off.
Though since there really isn't a category for any other types of art besides graphics and writing, I figured it fit better with the graphics part of it.
Anyway,I thought it might be a bit more interesting/new to talk about 3D models and such, inspired by anime.
Doesn't have to be something you've done
(though that would make this thread more interesting)
(Hope I'm not the only poster)
But here's one I did a while back.... A 3D model of the YF-19 from Macross Plus, I did in Maya 8.5.
Untextured Model
Textured Model
Not to complex (as far as the texturing goes) but everything's there that should be
(even the gun)
And if you want a better look.... [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Nice 3d modeling work ya got there O_O
Reminds me of my cousin who does 3d works
And the plane... I think I recall seeing it in a Ace Combat game (which are all real planes)
Not many ppl in animetake forums knows how to perform 3d modeling(especially in maya) so that's what I think is cause of there not being a 3D model works section in the forums
