Calling all GFX enthusiasts. CrownedClown and I are planning on running a friendly GFX competition against ZOMG. There will be 3 competition threads. One each for Signatures, Site Banners, and Wallpapers (minimum 1280x1020). The entries should incorporate the site logo or in some way represent animetake.

If you want to participate post your entry in whichever competition threads you decide to participate in. After a set period of time all 3 threads will be voted on Signature of the Week style to determine which entries will represent Animetake against Zomg.

DEADLINE IS AUGUST 4th

Addendum 1: Entries must provide links (uploaded on image hosting sites e.g. photobucket) for the renders, vector, scans in other words the original image/s they used for their entry.

Addendum 2(Falsum Style!): This should go without saying, but do not rip. And those ZOMG guys are getting uppity, lets send em for a loop ya?

Addendum 3: Only one entry per user per event.

Sounds cool, kinda reminds me of Regios when you say "Inter-Forum", feels like we're having war against another City ~ Restoration! Zero-Two!

I was actually meant to ask whether there will be a common theme to work at; a different them for each one or just free-style. I'm guessing it'll be Free-Style, but I just wanted to make sure so I could start pondering what to do if I decide to try (despite having never won any SOTW, lol ~ T_T).

I guess any questions I might have about the size restrictions will be answered when the threads appear.

So who is planning on entering?? I can't see many people entering the wallpaper contest though to be honest. I imagine creating a wallpaper is very different to Sigs/Banners because the sheer size you'll need to be able to create backgrounds on that scale and I guess render something suitable yourself...I didn't explain what I was thinking very well, but yeah....

Hell yeah!, I like this type of friendly competition between websites. I have a question though, are there any types of prizes involved if one gets selected to represent Animetake or if one were to be victorious in his/her particular section?. Personally, I would be interested in making a wall, though I need a time frame first since I'm ridiculously slow.
Edit: What things are permitted? (As in using certain types of references (stock images, scans, etc.)

Look at the graphic artists on ZOMG and you might change your opinion, The sigs I've been posting in their rating thread only get 6's and 5's from them.
