Finished up another lockscreen for my iPod, but the fonts just doesn't do it.
Looking for a modern minimalistic design, if anyone can enlighten me what I should do with it, please do tell.

Nice picture. The only suggestion I have is to try a black colored clock and see if you can add a chrome effect to it. or something similar.

Honestly...I prefer the first version. The glow gives it a more modern feel to it.
You will have to experiment with the colors. That's all I can say.

Try a gradient black+white type, so it's not too plain, but works well with your b+w overall piece.
I feel that color should be only used on the eyes of the girl. I feel that if the time is colored, then it can contrast too much from the overall, becoming a distraction (it sort of already is).


Overall, if you want a minimalist design, I would stick with a b+w gradient type. Let it glow, if you want.

The thing is the text editing is limited to CSS code and the font is only the iOS font bank. Gonna try out the suggestions, thanks.
