Hey guys!!

So i play paintball at a professional level with my college and this year we are going to be hitting up tournaments and scenarios throughout the US and Canada. and at our last team practice i noticed that the grips on a few of my guns are falling apart... not wanting to be a tool and just buy plain jane stock grips again i stumbled upon [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

i didnt really like any of their anime designs and then i thought hey im sure a few peeps in the animetake community could make me some badass ones!

so here i am asking for help as i have no artistic ability myself lol.

what im looking for is women of course in little to no clothing and somehow following the 'theme' and color of each gun. they can be holding weapons covered in blood etc. since i play an adrenaline fueled sport the more attitude and intimidation the better!

You don't need any artistic ability. All you have to do is make or buy a set of clear plexiglass or lexan grips. Now find an anime image/images that you like, print the image on suitable backing and place the images on the back of the grips. There are a variety of backings that you could use to print the image on that will stick to the back of the grips and have water resistant characteristics.

You could also make a mold, place an image in the mold, then pour resin into the mold over the image. The mold doesn't have to be perfect because you can shape it after the resin has cured. Although this method can be a little messy. Especially if you are not familiar with using resins.

yea but im a college student with a 40 hour a week job and very limited resources lol. so id rather have the awesome minds of animetake create it and stingerpaintball make it. and stingerpaintball gives discounts when i order more than one! and judging from the amount of beautiful sigs i know people here have some talent! and basically all i have to do is email the final images to stingerpaintball and BAM done. sweet grips at my house three days later

as an ex-paintball referee and small tournament player, I have to give this post a look at. As a freelancer in computer gfx I also have to look at this post in interest.

Now I do have a few questions in regards to your request. First being:

Do you have a time limit for your request?

Then:

Is there a particular character "style" you have a preference over? As a gfx person, I notice many different styles of characters in regards to head size, eyes, body proportions, etc... that vary between different anime characters.

Now, depending on things, I may take up the challenge but it depends on many things. Not just your answers but things on my end as well. But this request does interest me.

OMG thanks for your interest! i about gave up hope lol. my next tournament is in 3 weeks so itd be nice to have it done by then but it doesnt have to be.

as for style anything thats got a blend of sexy and attitude would be awesome. and id like the girls to be showing their full body if possible. the angel already has a pair of anime grips but i dont like them and theyre wearing out but i do like how she is laid out on the grip. so something along those lines. as well as somehow incoporating the theme of each gun if possible. like with the russian legion it would be cool to have a chick maybe barely clothed and wearing a ussr hat or something lol and the laser engraving of the rapper implies some sort of tribal theme and the A1 angel has a cobra so maybe something with a snake but i leave most of that to your own artistic mind and ability. my only request is to make the backround colors match the guns

We'll finally finished it. Couple issues here and there I had but turned out alright considering. Kinda wore me out so I'm probably not gonna do the other one. Let me know what you think!
