while u have a sense of color, they are rather monochromatic and flat. try working out layers of depth with range of the same color if u want a monochromatic piece, that way it builds both depth and general flow. while the second one has decent flow thanks to the bg, the rest really lacks it so u might want to add a few effects to create movement. best way to do so is using c4d. try some tuts that really uses c4d in order to create flow it really helps

I'll keep it in mind as I keep practicing (though I don't think I'll stop making monochromatic stuff...just like the feel of it :P)

1st sig - denoise the background. render looks out of place compared to background.

2nd sig - I see what your aiming for, but the render's shadowing doesnt match the concept.

3rd sig - focal is oversharpened. lighting is too strong on edge of sig and needs to be raised up. In fact, lightsource should be directly above them.

Looks like I need to pay more attention to what the render's details rather than trying to make it bend too much to what I want it to do

improving is a slow process that takes time, patience and the willingness to learn. Don't beat yourself over the head with a stick just because you feel you can't get over a wall. But there are people who are willing to help you if your willing to listen to them as well.

a good job bringing out your focal but it seems like your renders are of a low quality so the image isn't smooth. Your lighting needs some working on as well. I do see improvement from before. Keep it up.

Thanks for the insight...I can see what you mean by low quality renders, since there are parts of renders than are more "fuzzy" than I would like them to be, and I'll keep working at the lighting...and everything else xD

I love the "darker than black" sig. It's quite plain compared to your other sigs, but it's not too distracting.
I also really like the text. But I think you can make the leading more bigger.
And, your lighting isn't too bad. Lighting can get really difficult and annoying, and most of the times, I don't deal with lighting. blegh

Sometimes I think the more plain sigs look and flow better, but it all just depends on what style ur going for...

Here's an update, I guess, but I haven't really been practicing lately (it is summer, and all I do is golf and sleep when I'm not working xD)
