This will be a general art thread for my works, and should be updated regularly, as I have work coming out regularly from school and boredom.

First up, my ceramics piece. This was done for the first project, where we had to combine the three techniques were learned at the start. The three techniques was pinching, coiling, and slab building.

From the Heavens

As you can see, it has a split form, and can be functional as a vase or just a giant paper weight. The black glaze was a bit of a pain to work with as it basically dried immediately, and would peel off when fully dried. Given the difficulty the glaze gave, I am satisfied with how it looks with the peeling, but it would hold more impact if it truly was an even coat.

The Gummy Bear

Damn fucking straight, this is a giant gummy bear. This project was for begining sculpture, and was constructed with thick plastic, and a lot of duct tape. The project called for a minimum height and/or width of 10 feet, out bear reached around 8 feet wide and 12 feet tall. This was a group project, with 3 others helping along with me.

Space Invader

This was my final project for the same sculpture class as the gummy bear. We had to create a sculptural piece and place it in the environment (around our college campus) and have it work with the space. I choose to hand this space invader from a walkway, and have a tank below it, along with a bullet hanging between the two.

Pool Night

This is a charcoal drawing done of a pool table that sits in the game room here on campus. The detail is iffy in the image, but it really shows the form as it is.

The button on his shirt is a start/reset button.

Piece of Flash "art" for my multimedia class. Everything is made using the line tool, the gradient fill tool, and the gradient edit tool. Technically, its incomplete and might be worked on again.

Life Drawing Work

First up is a female head drawn using soft charcoal on natural white paper.

Next is a standing female...please disregard the hands and head, this was a bit earlier on and we were not doing anything with faces, heads, hands, or feet. This is done with compressed charcoal.

Finally, this one is one of my favorites. Its a seated female from a rear view. This is done with a mixture of compressed black and white charcoal, and soft black charcoal, done in chiaroscuro, meaning its on toned paper basically.

That's pretty cool yo. I presume it's made from clay? The base seems like it's unstable by the way.

More importantly, can it shot heavens?

The base is actually pretty stable for how the piece was put together (yes it is clay). I plan to take it and use a grinder on the base to make it sit more evenly, but it isnt needed.

It can shot heaven if spiderman can shot web.

Im also adding a non school work charcoal drawing I did, as well as some older sculpture class items.

We were cracking pedo bear jokes all the while making it. That an the lack of oxygen when taping it up internally.

Really nice work. Seen something similar which was a furniture/sofa piece although this looks more like a 3d render.

That couch would be awesome to make, and I could make that i think.

As for my sig, it is not made by me, but I am using it for my midterm project in Flash, which I will post the final piece of here.

I love the Space Invader. I wish I could do these kind of works. I only know how to design mechanical systems. =(

The space invader was actually really simple, it just took a while to get together. It was made with a large printout of a space invade pic, laid down onto a piece of pressed board. I cut out the outlined shape of it and used that to outline 4 more boards. For the eyes, I drilled into straight through all the layers and used a jigsaw to square them out. After they were all cut, i combined two layers, then attached two more layers to those, and a final layer on the back. Cutting the eyes really took the most time, but it wasnt more than a day total.
