So many things wrong again... Where to start? +__+
First of all, it's better than the previous picture. ![]() Main flaws: 1. Her right hand only has 4 fingers... 2. The hair has no volume, shading, etc. 3. The legs are terrible. Or are they broken? Even then it could be better though. =/ 4. Oh right, the fingers are too long. Solutions: 1. Draw 5 fingers. Duh? 2. You could look at other manga/anime pictures for this. Mostly this is done with 3 colors (a main color, a light/bright color and a darker color). 3. Take yourself as reference for this. Take a picture and see if you can place yourself like that and how it looks. You'll remove a lot of mistakes doing this. When your lower leg reaches the knee, it does not have a huge bult. 4. Hands and feet are bigger than you think, but don't fix it by making the fingers long. The handpalm is as long as the fingers, so the actual length of your hand is a finger x2. Feet are about 1,5x your hand. A good suggestion: Practice every day. I hope this helps you. Have fun drawing. ^_^ - Last Signature Update: 24/05/2012 2:33pm GMT -

Shading is everything. If you want it to look like what you want it to look like, e.g, the right hand with 4 fingers, you need to shade it in a way that the angle only shows 4 fingers. The left and right legs lack shading between them. Again, you lack a point of origin for lighting and shading. Pick a point, use that as a lighting reference, and start shading so it looks like the light came from that direction, otherwise, its going to look like a 2D piece of crap if left colored. The only time it looks decent without shading is in line-art.
An easy way to shade is to use layers for it. Have your original drawing in one layer with flat colors. Then create a new layer and with the brush tool on black, change the opacity and start coloring the areas you are shading. Another way is to use Corel Draw, which is pressure sensitive if you have a tablet.
