I just got back from 1 Borneo, the largest Hypermall in Malaysia >.>

So, I went for and go to a bookstore 'Harris'. After that, I go to the comic book section and I'm quite surprised with what I found. Its a comic with Bakuman as its cover!.. or so I thought.

Unfortunately, its not Bakuman. Its Bakuman rip-off. And its a comic with a 16 years old kid as the artist with his 26 years old brother as the author.

The comic called "Misi 8A" .. or in English, "Mission 8A". When I saw the book, I feel somewhat pissed off, discontent, and anger. This is not right. Even the price is unreasonable.

Does he think nobody will know that he used Bakuman as character reference? Well, its true Bakuman is not well-known in Malaysia but seeing them taking advantage of this is just getting on my nerve.
He even got RM 2000 for it if I'm not mistaken for this crappy comic.
RM 2000 = 630.517 USD. Thats considered alot imo.

So what do you guys think? tl;dr ? >.>

2.The story is totally a different from bakuman.
3.The artist is a big fan of takeshi obata's style so he copy the style(he told about it in his one-shot)
4.Most of malaysian know that the character is same as bakuman(because bakuman is well-known in malaysia by a magazine(See [Only registered and activated users can see links. ])

oh and that stupid magazine which put scanlated manga in there and got tons of money from just editing the translation a little bit and they even fooled people into buying it and the people buying it doesn't actually realise they've became an accomplice of reading an illegal scanlated manga ?

well people will always rip off others, pretty much all the ideas i the world are taken from somewhere else, i see what you though by this copy cat of bakuman reminds of that guy who wrote incarnate and copied everything off bleach, but viz sued his ass
