Default iPhone/iPod Touch Owners - 07-10-2010, 12:42 PM

So, I thought I'd create a thread where those of us who own iPhones and iPod touches can share our favourite apps and sites.

For starters, I found a site last night called www.iphoneanime.net
on which you seem to be able to stream quite a few series direct to the iPhone for free, a site I've been looking for for a while.

Does anyone know any good sites for backgrounds? Now OS4 has come out, backgrounds are more important

why stream media specifically for iphone when you can edit current media to fit your iphone/itouch?

download handbrake and let the fun begin. Seriously, I used that app to edit so many different shows to fit my itouch it isnt even funny.

Does this program keep the subtitles from mkvs? This is the problem I've always had.

it does have the option to lose or keep subtitles. I've never had an issue with it.

if you remember what format to save it as, itunes will accept the video and add it to your iphone. There are different resolution options for it as well. I can get mine to fit the iphone resolution perfectly. Just takes a little tinkering to get used to. I believe itunes accepts mp4 formats.

Also, does the subs shows for mkv videos in iPhone??

Lastly, if can't put mkv videos, can anyone recommand me a good converter that converts mkv to anything (with subs still showing).

Tnx guys ^^

p.s can anyone tell me a good site that I can DL apps (not torrent sites)
