Info on licensed anime

I was wondering what site I can use to quickly find out when some company license an anime.

Do they let you know on ann or anidb? If so, where cause I must be blind. Of course, I see ann sometimes post news about those things but not sure if they post all the time.

edit - reason I'm asking cause I had a neat idea for a site I might end up doing.

Just check if the anime is blocked on hsbsitez
..Or use wikipedia.

As much as I hate to say it, Anime News Network is generally fast about showing what new licenses have been acquired and you can check older titles too.

Animesuki has a whole section dedicated to licensed animé. It's easy to navigate, as it's listed in alphabetical order
