RS was only good for it's uploading speed, but it's really declined due to all the legal issues. As with MU, it's been quite strong still. I personally bought a lifetime premium account. That wasn't too long ago, paid in USD cause one of their pages was still set in USD. :'). It's actually a very good deal considering you can import whatever and as well watch on megavideo which is great. And since it's good up to 3 different IPs sharing with family and friends makes it even more worth it. Included in the lifetime premium is 3 premium vouchers which is kind of useless when you have a lifetime premium lol.

Megaupload premium is decent IMO.
Relatively cheaper than the others, unlimited bandwidth and transloading from URLs can be useful at times too.

That said, I just extend for 2 years. Lifetime account is already equivalent to about 3x2 years, and after 6 years, who knows whether we'll still be using MU.

The decent premium hosts I've tried:

Megaupload
Fileserve
Hotfile

Hotfile being the fastest for me.

As for anime content, MU started out pretty good a few years ago but now a lot people move to other services. Hotfile had a good run after MU, and now it seems to be centered around FileServe / FileSonic.

As always, try to factor in how long the service will still be available when purchasing lifetime. You can spend a little more on short term, or pay the lifetime price and save money in the long run.

I believe RS died because of all their policy changes, discouraging premium users and whatnot. MU at least doesn't appear to be making the mistake, so I think they can at least stay alive.

MU is hands down the best used through JDL not including mediafire. 40 second wait time, no mandatory wait time in between downloads.

In this case ZOMG rocks, but they are slow (not for me, but i heard recently, so).

FS is pay well. They don't have any pros. Filesonic dls are really bad, because often interrupted and i can't continue.

MU is awesome indeed but I am just gonna stick with the FREE, rather than Premium.. Don't get me wrong, Premium is awesome but I have nothing to upload at this time.

MegaUpload is still the best, along with mediafire. Love mediafire actually since you can share the http link you get after you wait those 3 seconds. xD
