Good Intentions?

This is something RinVonStark and myself were discussing. Do you think there is such a thing as good intentions and people that are "good at heart"?

Just voice you're opinion and whatnot.

What do you mean by good at heart? I'd say everyone has a dark side, it's the people that choose to supress it that are the nice ones

Good at heart--like some people are an ass to everyone but really they actually care, they just dont know how to show it

I think everyone is generally selfish which for me makes it more significant
when someone does good especially when it's for the right reasons.

No good intentions. We are all hostages to our selfishness. We do what makes us feel good. Example: we help others to be rewarded. If we aren't, we call them ingrates and never talk to them again.

I liked this answer. You can choose to be nice to people but if you don't pay attention, your dark side comes out automatically. I totally forgot what else I was going to add. Oh well.
