I have a hard time finding sake anywhere in my little hick town usually, and have only had Gekkeikan sake before. Today I found my local liquor store to be in stock of a decent variety of sake.... So I bought some of everything they had

Currently I'm enjoying a little Nigori Sake (the cloudy, sweet-ish stuff) and it's GREAT! I drink it a little chilled.... What do all of you Anime Takers like? OR, on the flipside, does sake totally disgust you?

i have a bottle of nigori sake in the fridge now =D but i think i preffer the clear stuff. what do you drink your sake out of? those wooden boxes are awesome, i'm going to carve my own cedar sake box soon i think.
so do you pronounce it "sahkay" or "sahkee"? everywhere here in america it's sahkee, even the japanese waitress calls it that. while in japan it's always sahkay =\

I've always wanted to try sake, but I doubt they even sell it where I live, or even anywhere close.
If I were to go to Nashville or Memphis, I MIGHT be able to get it at a Japanese restaurant somewhere in either of the two places.
I don't think that it's bad to drink alcohol, unless you drink to the point of not being able to stand on your own. That's just sort of stupid to me, I don't know why someone would want to be so wasted that they would consider making out with their dog or something weird like that.
I mean, for some people it might be fun for a while, but then they wake up the next day with an epic headache and hurling in the toilet. Doesn't sound very fun to me.
I am not hating on anyone who does get drunk, if they want to, then that's their choice and I am not going to try and stop them. That's just my opinion of drinking and alcohol.

I tried chilled Sake once and I must say it was pretty bad
I am not much of a drinker anyways I think I will stick to my Dr Pepper
