Malaysia blocks filehosts

looks like my country have finally done it ...

this sucks.. xD

Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has released an official order to block access to file sharing web sites to all ISPs

a total of 10 site
and they blocked megaupload and fileserve too.. hahaha

its on the frontpage too.. saw it this morning.. it made my day.. hahaha

Maybe because they are a Muslim country and some of the values are against piracy?

But then again, they do some pretty stupid stuff there (I used to live there for a while, any non muslim used to be a 3rd class citizen).

Anyway, if it's thepiratebay etc, that's understandable(though I'm against it. LOL), but megaupload etc? That's just dumb.

Before we know it, they might even block all non-government email just bcuz some are sharing songs through them.
