kodomo no jikan was to be released the same month the bill goes into effect... one of my all time favorite loli shows and that shit wont even have 3 sec of consideration before its rejected.

guess naruto, bleach, and fairy tail will have more poeple watching since there wont be anything else on. that is unless you want to watch an anime about a guy who lives in a house with 5 girls (not wearing school uniforms of course because that would be bad) and he lives out his days with absolutely no contact with them.

To give poeple an example of what will not be showing after Jan 2011 these titles would not pass.

Panty and Stocking , Sora no Otoshimono, Togainu no Chi, Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls, Yosuga no Sora , to love ru, Ore no Imouto, MM, To Aru Majutsu, Star Driver and Amagami

I guess it will not apply to internet broadcast. but the problem is, most of the anime are broadcasted by TV.

this is only for the tokyo area. unfortunately since a majority of sales come from tokyo a publisher isn't going to release something they cant sell to the largest area of the country. stations like tokyo MX or TV tokyo will not be showing these new "banned" shows.

The shows I mentioned where just examples of what types shows will not be showed anymore. they will be over with before the ban is set into action. It may effect blu ray or dvd releases though.

index could be shown but not with all the fanservice. the part in the first series where index is striped naked... gone. the part in this season where they showed index with her panties down... gone. anything with a school outfit you might as well kiss goodbye because they will consider it unhealthy.

So basically they still can be broadcasted as long as it's not in Tokyo? Hurrah! But the ban will probably hit manga industry the hardest.
