i played almost all final fantasy games
and i must say songs in this one were total crap

and all because the guy who was making songs for all other final fantasy quit square enix

While it's certainly not as great as the Uematsu FF OSTs, this soundtrack doesn't suck. I liked every track that had vocals in it, and there were some good music like the battle theme and the prelude to FF theme.
