Disgaea series having a special place in my gamer heart
Everyone should play Disgaea once in their life time. Oh speaking of rpgs I really recommend Persona FES, 3 and 4.

Anyone that likes the oldschool sprite games with anime artwork should desperately search for Odin Sphere for the ps2.

I think without question the most beautiful 2D game on the ps2.

Those sprites remind me of Seiken Densetsu 3 for some reason.
Oh yeah, and if you haven't played Seiken Densetsu 3 for SNES, get an emulator and play it.

Oh yes I really loved that game and speaking of Odin Sphere, there's also Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the Wii ( same guys who made Odin)

I'm just looking for decent Jrpg's with their original Japanese dubs but with English Subs too. I'm not a big fan of Turn based combat like the older FF games too though... A combat system like Eternal Sonata had is more than okay.
Either PS3 or PS2 and even Nds and Psp if I can get my father to loan them to me.
Only Jprgs I've played lately were Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean Last Hope and FF12.
Any ideas? I'm thinking of picking up Resonance of Fate as well somewhere next week.

But I didn't know then, that a human can, just by living, damage another human being beyond repair. Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood

Same as above but try Tales of Abyss for PS2 first since Tales of Vesperia isn't out yet for teh PS3 but if you do have Xbox360 do it, go for Vesperia.

Namco stated that they have no plans of releasing PS3 version of Vesperia outside Japan.
