I heard from a friend of mine, that the new deus ex is great. He described it as a very Ghost in the Shell kind of feeling.

Is the story any good? I was thinking of buying it

Its worthy of the Deus Ex title, but doesn't surpass the original's greatness. You generally have the freedom to objectives in the manner you want, but the game heavily favours specific approaches by giving more XP for doing things in the way it wants rather letting you completely experiment and still reward you equally for your success.

Also, the game does hold your hand at certain points.

That being said, I've only stated the negatives so read a review or watch some gameplay footage and judge for yourself.

Will do. As long as the story line is good and not too cliché, then it.... should be okay.

Default PC(non-mainstream) game suggestion - 12-05-2011, 09:08 AM

I recently bought a new laptop so most of the games on market can be played if I turn the graphics setting to medium.

So, does anyone know of some fun FPS, TPS, strategy, RPG games that are fun but not mainstream?

I have been playing League of Legends, Arma2, BF2roject Reality, Mass Effect 1/2, and planned to run SWTOR on my laptop.

Thanks.

Mabinogi is fun for a short while but get's boring really quickly.
Nexon ruins the game by forcing you to buy NX :/

MFW. Whiners and feeders ruin the game though. Oh, Trolls too.

I've got bored of playing RPGs on PS3 so I'm moving back to PC.

Currently, I'm playing shit load of TF2, SC2 and Touhou though, I want to play some MMORPGs.

Any recommendations? also I would prefer F2P more than P2P...

P.S Sign, I really wanted to play Tera or Aion though they are P2P and I'm kind of stuck with money so... FML

I thought Aion was going f2p?

Trust me, if you want to play a decent mmorpg you're gonna have to end up paying. (Tera is going to be awesome though lol)

Try out Cabal if you want, it's an okay rpg. Trickster is also one of my favourites, although that game is basically dead since they devs started pumping gamebreaking cash items..

Euro Aion is f2p and NA is going f2p later this year
Looks pretty but it's a huge grind fest

So we're back to P2P again... sigh

I guess I'll have save up money from now on.

As for other games, I've tried cable and Trickster but it just wasn't right for me. Aion is going F2P? dayum... though if its another grindfest, well I'll guess I won't try it

P.S Two things I've just noticed now:
- Are you fucking serious? Tera is monthly subscription? fml...
- Why aren't there any MMORPGs for Oceania example Australia? Its hard to play games on NA or EU which we lag so much...
