Command and Conquers the same, all their doing is adding fancy graphics and then claiming it's a new game all together. Not only that, but the gameplay speed is getting slower with every release.
I mean even popular games like Crysis and Lost Planet were designed solely to push hardware to their limits and display potential. By introducing harder controls, companies are thinking their making games more challenging but infact are only making it more stressful.
Maybe it's just me, but I would prefer a lot more fast pace action. I like COD4, not just for the graphics, it had a decent storyline, and more importantly, it's pace was pretty quick, in some stages having me shoot non-stop. DBZ shinbudokai on PSP was great too, the fights being really fast pace just like the anime. Too bad games like DOA and Tekken are getting slower.

To be fair, ALL games are repetitive. In CoD 4 and DBZ Shin Budokai, all you do is shoot and fight respectively. It how the developers immerse you into the game so you don't notice this.
And slow pace =/= bad game design. There are heaps of games out there that require you to play it slowly and carefully to win.
